FISH method with probe prepared in the Cytogenetic Laboratory in IMID, is used to identify abnormalities that cannot be detected by standard karyotyping. This kind of probes can prepared for any given genomic region, most often they are used for results verification of MLPA and a CGH methods.
Tubes with blood should be sent to the Cytogenetic Laboratory of the Medical Genetics Department by expedited post, in ambient temperature.
